GelSight Mobile 4.1 Software Update Offers Advanced Measurement Tools and Reporting Capabilities
Latest update continues to enhance customer productivity with new arc measurement tools and improved gel handling for GelSight Mobile and GelSight Max.
Waltham, Mass. – April 23, 2025 – GelSight, a pioneer in tactile intelligence technology, today announced the release of its GelSight Mobile™ 4.1 software package. This update further streamlines GelSight’s latest 2D tools introduced at the end of 2024 and amplifies reporting capabilities for customers.
After introducing 2D surface analysis tools in the 4.0 update, GelSight continued to incorporate customer feedback and has further optimized the user experience with a new 3-point arc tool and a new arc radius measurement tool. These updates enable simplified workflows and deliver significant improvements for routine measurements, inspection cycles, and more on Any Material. Anywhere™.
With GelSight 4.1, customers can now produce multiple PDF reports with a single click of a button, which helps eliminate the costs associated with lab analysis such as teardown, transportation, and project workflow downtime. The 4.1 update also offers additional user improvements for gel handling.
“Customer feedback is one of the most critical aspects to inform our product and software product roadmap,” said Milan Kocic, Vice President, Product at GelSight. “Following the release of GelSight Mobile 4.0, our customers were impressed with how easily they could analyze larger surfaces, and we’ve continued to streamline the user experience for 2D and 3D surface measurements with this latest update. The new arc measurement tools and enhanced reporting capabilities will continue to increase productivity and reliability for our customers.”
